Audi continues to make progress in the world of alternative energy, with special focus on plug-in hybrid technology.
In early March at the Geneva Motor Show, Audi will show the new Audi A3 e-tron, a more realistic view of what the future of mobility reserve and a true example of efficiency.



The A3 e-tron comes with a gasoline engine 1.4 TFSI modified with an output of 150 horsepower. Through a clutch that works with an electric motor of 75 kW (102 hp). This electric motor, disc-shaped, is located beside the new gearbox e-tronic with six-speed, which distributes the power between the front wheels. Thus, both the two engines complement each other, offering a combined maximum power of 204 hp and a maximum torque of 350 Nm

The Audi A3 e-tron can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 7.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 222 kilometers per hour. And what is more surprising: according to ECE plug-in hybrid car, the average fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is just 1.5 liters with CO2 emissions of 35 g / km.
